OUR Mentorship Program

At Equip A Girl Child, we believe that education alone is not enough. Many of the girls we serve come from unstable or emotionally challenging home environments, and they need more than just school fees—they need love, guidance, and consistent support.

That’s why we’ve developed a Christian-based mentorship program led by qualified social workers with a strong foundation in faith and compassion.

Each girl in our program is matched with a dedicated mentor who:

• Visits twice each school term to check on academic progress and emotional wellbeing
   
• Offers emotional and spiritual guidance, creating a safe space for the girls to open up
   
• Provides life skills and home training, especially in areas where single parents may be overwhelmed or unable to help
   
• Supports character development, reminding each girl of her worth and God-given potential
   

Our mentors serve voluntarily, driven by a deep passion to see girls not just succeed academically, but thrive emotionally and spiritually. Their work is a crucial part of the transformation we aim to see in every girl’s life.
