Equip A Girl Child has a mentorship program for the girls that we take to school. Our mentors are qualified social workers with a Christian background. They assist us in making sure that the girls are stable, mentally and emotionally. Most of the children we help come from unstable homes and they need all the love and attention possible. The mentors each have a designated mentee whom they visit twice a term to check their grades, catch up, as well as home training that most single parents might overlook. All the work that the mentors do is voluntarily and we are truly grateful for the work that they do.
