Empowering Girls For A Brighter Future
EST. 2024
Equip A Girl Child is a Christian organization formed to lend a helping hand to girls who want to make something out of their lives but unfortunately don’t have the ability to help themselves. To be Christian is to be Christ-like. Even as the creator of heaven and earth, while our Lord Jesus Christ was on earth he had nothing to his name.

To be Christian is to be Christ-like. Even as the creator of heaven and earth, while our Lord Jesus Christ was on earth he had nothing to his name. God has however told us to love one another, and thus shall we do by lifting up one girl at a time. Join us on this journey to make sure that girls around the world get the necessary support they need to obtain an education.

At Equip A Girl Child, our mission is to improve the lives of young girls in need by providing them with annual tuition fees and school essentials. As it stands, we are also providing them with uniforms, stationery and essential feminine care such as sanitary pads. This helps us alleviate the number of children in Zimbabwe roaming the streets every day while others are at school. Some of the children are orphans, and the rest have parents who are unemployed due to the rising unemployed rate in Zimbabwe. Most parents barely make enough to survive.

Our organization is built on a foundation of Christianity, compassion, integrity, and love. Everyone deserves access to basic education. We believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect, and we are committed to using our resources in the most effective and efficient way possible. Not only do we want to cater to the basic needs of the girls, but we want to remind people of the power and love of God.
“Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples”
John 13:34
Our team is made up of dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the world. The founder is a woman who respects the concept of education and wants the absolute best for every single girl we bring under our wing. From our volunteers to our board members, everyone at Equip A Girl Child is committed to our mission and the children we serve.
We reached out to our village asking for donations to get personal care hygiene for the girls and the village showed up!!!
We are truly grateful to God for making this possible.

Equip A Girl Child is dedicated to providing aid and support to girls of underprivileged backgrounds up to the age of 18. We prioritize orphans and girls whose parents send their boys to school and leave the girls at home because of a lack of funds.
All donations made to Equip A Girl Child go towards funding our programs and services, such as tuition aid which costs an average of $200 annually per child. We are currently working with a primary school that is at the brink of closure due to a lack of salaries for the three teachers they have, and learning materials such as chalkboards and books. The school is indeed of a borehole for the children to have access to clean water.
As a result of poverty, 60% of school dropouts in Zimbabwe are girls. In situations where parents have to choose between their male and female child, they would rather send the boy to school in hopes that they can become someone. Most parents make this decision on the basis that girls will grow up and get married. Although this is unfortunate, it is the reality of many girls.
